The Tsuki story began back in 2003 when we bought our very first Skye terrier, Jeraro S'Wonderful or Luna as we like to call her. Actually, it all began a while before that when Josie - the youngest Tsuki member pounced on a Skye while wandering around Discover Dogs at Crufts a few years previous. The Skye in question, Maraquita Flash Distinction at Jeraro (Dillon) won her heart in an instant and Josie embarked on a mission to acquire what we affectionately call 'a Dillon baby'.
Many emails and a Crufts trip or two later and we had the chance of our own Skye who, as requested, was truly her daddies daughter! In 2006 we decided to breed our first litter. Luna was mated to the wonderful Ch Glorfindel Freedom Fighter ShCM (Clyde) and, even though she doesn't like other dogs, she fell for her cream mate instantly. Luna whelped a litter of seven puppies in March 2006 and the Tsuki Star litter was born. Some pups went to show homes, two stayed here with us and the rest went to loving forever-homes where they will be well cared for.
Unfortunately, we do not have plans for any litters in the near future as we do not have a breeding bitch. We are on the lookout for our perfect puppy though and when the opportunity arises we will acquire a little girl to continue our breeding. In the meantime Freedom and Luna continue to be shown in breed classes and Freedom is currently working towards his Good Citizen's scheme Gold award.
