Tsuki Skye Terriers

Hello and welcome to Tsuki Skye Terriers!

The Tsuki story began back in 2003 when we bought our very first Skye terrier, Jeraro S'Wonderful or Luna as we like to call her. Actually, it all began a while before that when Josie - the youngest Tsuki member pounced on a Skye while wandering around Discover Dogs at Crufts a few years previous. The Skye in question, Mariquita Flash Distinction at Jeraro (Dillon) won her heart in an instant and Josie embarked on a mission to acquire what we affectionately call 'a Dillon baby'.

Many emails and a Crufts trip or two later and we had the chance of our own Skye who, as requested was truly her daddies daughter! Luna now lives a contented life with our West Highland White (Day) and her two young sons, Tsuki Freedom Star and Tsuki Daylight Star along with a multitude of other animals in residence.

There are three of us here at the Tsuki kennel: Josie is the youngest and owner of Luna, Sarah owns Freedom and runs this web site and Chris owns Twiddle and Day and is the responsible mother! With this web site, we hope to bring the Skye some much needed attention and provide an insight into what makes these little dogs so highly valued by their owners.

The Skye is a breed that will captivate you instantly and it's difficult to find an owner of 'just one' Skye terrier, yet the breed is now recognised by the Kennel Club as a native vulnerable breed.
